Teach-a-Child Tutoring

Teach-A-Child is a no-cost, year-long tutorial program that provides intensive individualized academic help to students in the 1st-12th grades.  The tutorials are held two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 6:30-7:30pm for 18 weeks during the school year.

The program is meant for

• students who are having serious academic difficulty at school, and

• students whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford private tutoring

To apply, contact Cris Alvarado.  Please have your child's teacher write a brief summary of the difficulty that your child is experiencing in the classroom.  The number of students accepted is limited by the number of tutor volunteers.   The academic need of the student will be strongly considered.
