SHAPE Opportunities
Caring Ministries
The Caring Ministry has a place for many - whether you like to serve in a group or as an individual, feel called to offer encouragement in person or pray privately for others, prefer to work from home and cook for others or enjoy getting out of the house to visit - there is something for you to try. For more information about any of the Caring Ministry opportunities, contact Rosemary Dubois.
- Nursing Home Visitation - Servants are needed to spend time with our members and guests in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Once a month or more often if you choose.
- Community Caring - Individuals provide meals for those in need, provide transportation for doctor visits, and do short term sitting for ill members. If any of these areas interest you , become a member of this ministry team.
- Prayer Ministry - If you feel called to pray for others, consider joining our Chapel Prayer Team. These individuals serve approximately once every 6 weeks for about an hour, by coming to the Chapel on Sunday any time after the last worship service and praying over the prayer requests that are reeceived that day.
- Golf Cart Ministry - Adult drivers and Assistants serve approximately once a month on a Sunday for 1-1/2 hours, transporting people from the parking lot to the sanctuary and back again.
