Prayer MinistryPrayer is the foundation of Friendswood UMC. Prayer requests may be submitted to our prayer teams through our website (www.friendswoodumc.com/prayers), on Sunday mornings by using the tear off Ministry Information Form in the bulletin, by calling the church office 281.482.7535 during the week or by leaving a written request at the Prayer Chapel. Prayer Shawl MinistryThe shawls and blankets are prayed over while they are created and then blessed by the pastors in a worship service before they are sent out into the community to those who are facing difficult situations. The shawls serve as tangible evidence that God is with us. Quilting MinistryQuilts are given to those in the church and community in their time of need as a representation of the prayers lifted up on their name.
