2012 Summer Camps
UMARMY (Sr High) July 15-21
Over one hundred high school students and adults, but only one purpose... to be the hands and feet of Christ to communities in need. Students who've completed 9th grade and above will build wheelchair ramps, repair falling porches, patch holey walls, and give people hope by making their lives better.
- Student Cost: $250 / $215 per additional student from same family
- College Helper: $215
- Adult Cost: $175

OPERATIONRESTORE (Jr High) July 5-8
Similar to UMARMY, only for students who've completed 6th-8th grade. We stay within 2-hours of Houston, spending three days restoring hope in the lives of the people we serve, through painting, yard work, serving food, and working with organizations that meet the needs of their community.
- Student Cost: $150 / $100 per additional student from same family
- College Helper: $75
- Adult Cost: $75
EDGECAMP (completed 6th-12th grade)
This is summer camp at its finest. Worshiping God, hanging out with friends, swimming, boating, playing basketball, doing everything that Camp Tejas has to offer. In addition, you will be challenged to draw closer to God, meeting Him in small groups, workshops, and personal time.
Dates for incoming 7th & 8th Graders - June 20-24
Dates for incoming 9th graders & up - June 24-28
- Student Cost: $375 / $300 per additional student from same family
- College Helper: $300
- Adult: $175
Student scholarships are available for all camps. In addition to scholarships, several fundraising opportunities exist throughout the year that students can use towards any Friendswood UMC/Relevant Student Ministry event or camp. Please contact the student ministry office for more information.
